Daryl Gayhardt comes to Central Properties from a successful career as a new homes sales and marketing manager for national home builders with projects in Washington DC, Maryland and Delaware. As a new homes specialist, he established himself early on selling communities in Washington’s nearby Maryland suburbs, southern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Daryl attended Towson State University, concentrating on business development and management. Sales beckoned, and he jumped right in. Since 2001, he has assisted several regional and national builders in establishing marketing programs, hiring staff, and developing and implementing sales strategies for a number of successful subdivisions and developments.
Daryl’s unique talents and drive gives Central Properties an edge in new home sales and project management. He manages the team’s expanding corporate-owned division, as well as helping his growing clientele with their residential real estate needs.
Lou has lived in DC for the last 20 years, though he originally hails from Brooklyn New York. A licensed agent in Washington DC and Maryland, his interest in Real Estate was sparked when he attended the University District of Columbia School of Architecture. Lou developed a great appreciation for the history and styles of architecture unique to the district of Columbia.
With this background, Lou is able to give his clients perspective as an architect and realtor. He enjoys working with seasoned real estate investors as well as first time home buyers and sellers. As a real estate professional Lou strives to provide the highest level of professionalism and excellent customer service.
In April 2012 Lou was featured on the show “Celebrity House Hunters” on the Biography Channel, when he represented his client Biz Markie. In his spare time Lou enjoys snowboarding, golf, cycling and motorcycling.
Melissa brings a unique perspective to her real estate practice with her extensive creative, marketing, and project management background. Melissa started working in the construction and development industry at an early age at her family’s business in New Jersey gaining knowledge from the administrative division to marketing, and then field management.
Melissa graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in 2000. After a successful career in the media arts industry as an award winning photojournalist and producer, Melissa has returned to her roots in real estate. She enjoys meeting new clients and supporting them; whether advising on their real estate investments, consulting on interior design, aiding with renovation and construction management, or supporting them in buying or selling properties.
With the ambition and determination to enter into the competitive world of real estate, Nicole Artis is a thriving agent specializing in sales and customer service. Happily married with one child, Nicole has earned a reputation as an excelling agent, scrupulous consultant and a leader in her community. Peggy comes to the Metropolitan Group with a vast experience in the real estate, mortgage and title business. She started in the real estate business in 1982 selling new homes for National Home Builders throughout MD, PA and the Metropolitan area, she also entered in to the title business at the same time where she worked for over 10 years. With Peggy’s extreme hands on training with mortgages, she decided to go in to the mortgage business in early 2004.
Through her tenure in the mortgage and title business, Peggy has always maintained her involvement in the real estate business, representing both buyers and sellers in Maryland and DC. It has always been Peggy’s goal to know all that she can in the real estate business so she can give the best service to her clients. Tarrence Moorer comes to the Metropolitan Group from a successful Alexandria Real Estate Team. Prior to starting his career in Real Estate, Tarrence’s professional experiences include working with the City of Alexandria’s, Transportation and Environmental Services, as well as business development and management of a Multi Physician Specialty Practice. Most recently, he served as Management Analyst insuring Alexandria’s public right-of-way disability parking program. Tarrence is an Eagle Scout and member of Boy Scouts of America.
Tarrence attended Shenandoah University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science while later obtaining a second B.S. in Criminal Justice. Concentrating on Strategic Management he is pursuing and in route to complete his Master of Science in Organizational Leadership by December 2015. Since 2012, he has assisted several lawyers, executives, and c-level buyers as an Expert Property Advisor.
Tarrence has established himself in the Washington DC Metro area and the nearby counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Prince George. A native of the DC Metro area and having lived his whole life in Northern Virginia and Maryland, he excels at building rapport with his clients and helping them negotiate the best deals on the home of their dreams as a licensed agent in DC, MD, and VA.
